Overview
An API is a product, and we build it like one. BetaZen Infotech designs and develops REST and GraphQL APIs in Node.js and TypeScript — with versioned endpoints, JWT or OAuth 2.0 authentication, rate limiting, input validation, and OpenAPI (Swagger) documentation generated from the code itself. Whether it’s the backend for your mobile app, a partner-facing integration surface, or a public developer API, you receive a tested, load-checked service with CI/CD in place.
BetaZen Infotech builds API backends for startups in Kolkata’s growing tech scene and for product companies elsewhere in India, while several of our long-running API projects serve users in Europe and North America.

Technologies we use
Why choose BetaZen
Contract-first clarity
Frontend, mobile, and partner teams build against a stable OpenAPI spec instead of guessing at responses.
Secure by design
Auth, rate limits, and validation are baked into every endpoint from day one, not patched on after a pen test.
Measured performance
We load-test to your real traffic targets and tune queries and caching until p95 latency meets the SLA.
How we work
Discovery & Strategy
We start by understanding your goals, users, and constraints, then map the fastest path to measurable outcomes.
Design & Architecture
We design the experience and the system architecture up front so what we build scales cleanly and predictably.
Agile Delivery
We ship in short, reviewable increments with continuous testing so you see working software early and often.
Launch & Support
We handle deployment, monitoring, and handover — and stay on to iterate, optimize, and support post-launch.
Frequently asked questions
REST or GraphQL — which should we pick?
REST remains the simplest choice for public and partner APIs; GraphQL shines when many client apps need flexible, nested data from one endpoint. We often ship REST for external consumers and GraphQL internally — the decision comes out of your consumer map, not fashion.
How do you keep an API secure?
Layered controls: OAuth 2.0 or signed JWTs, per-client rate limits, strict schema validation on every input, secrets in a vault, and dependency scanning in CI. We also write abuse-case tests, not just happy-path ones.
Can a startup in Kolkata work with you on-site during the build?
Absolutely — Kolkata teams often pair with our engineers in person for architecture and API-design sprints, and we bill in INR with milestone-based invoices that suit early-stage budgets.
